Pregnant Man

One example of the use of the new reproductive technology is the pregnancy of Thomas Beatie. Beatie is a transgrendered man who was born a woman, but he has lived as a man for 10 years ago. He began taking testosterone treatments and had breast surgery to remove glands and flatten his chest. He kept his reproductive organs because he wanted to have a baby. His wife inseminated him with a syringe using sperm purchased from a bank. Welcome to the new world of reproductive technology. The law has not been able to keep pace with the creative ways people can think of to artificially create children. Thus, the use of the technology is barely regulated.
